Evolutionists get more desperate every day. They spend billions of dollars to send space probes to distant places in the universe to find signs of life so they can once and for all declare that God does not exist. If they can show that Earth is not the only place where life could have evolved, […]
There are six prevalent myths taught about American history over pivotal matters of importance. Call them humanist tall tales, if you wish. They’re as fictional and sensational as the wild stories of Pecos Bill and Paul Bunyan with his big, blue ox, but unlike those American myths, these have long been presented as historical fact by the academic institutions of our fair land. These myths have duped far too many Christians in our day, leading them to devote their efforts to combat the wrong things, or to […]
My wife and I received our 2010 Census form. We got the long version. It’s filled with questions about race and national origin. It’s un-American and an insult. The Bible does not separate people according to racial characteristics. Such a classification system is truly modern, based on evolutionary assumptions. For the Darwinist, “race” is simply a “subspecies,” a direct link to animals. Such a designation helps to explain the subtitle to Darwin’s The Origin of Species by Natural Selection. The subtitle reads, The Preservation of Favored Races in the Struggle for Life. “Although racism is an ancient fallacy, it was Darwinian evolutionism that first seemed to give it scientific plausibility.” Scripture clearly states that “all nations of men” have been made from “one blood” (Acts 17:26), clearly an anti-racism statement.
Atheists and evolutionists do not like to be compared to people like Adolf Hitler. Of course, I don’t blame them. Just because someone shares a similar ideology with a tyrant in one area does not mean that he shares everything that tyrant did.
When evolutionists present their latest fossil finds as “evidence” of evolution, keep in mind that they could never find any bit of evidence that would disprove evolution. Their minds are made up before they ever dig up a single fossilized fragment. To be blunt about it, they are looking for evidence to prove what they already believe but can never prove.
Today is the 200th birthday of Charles Darwin, and evolutionists are celebrating worldwide that they are nothing more than bags of meat and bone with electricity running through them. “Praise Darwin from whom all matter flows!,” their doxology goes. The religious character of Darwin is evident in the way those from the Freedom From Religion Foundation are commemorating his birth. Their billboards look like stained glass windows!
Whether in good economic times or bad,
I saw The Dark Knight, the new Batman film, this weekend. It’s everything the reviewers have been saying about it and more. Heath Ledger’s performance is certainly worthy of an Academy Award and not because of sentimentality over his premature death. The role was a once in a lifetime opportunity, and he played it perfectly.
When I heard about the 17 students at Gloucester High School who are expecting babies, it reminded me of the movie Village of the Damned, based on the novel The Midwich Cuckoos, written by English author John Wyndham and published in 1957.
Aldous Huxley (1894—1963) was the grandson of Thomas Huxley, Darwin’s Bulldog,
The debate between creation and evolution has a long history. The first public debate between a creationist and a Darwinist was probably the one where Samuel Wilberforce, bishop of Oxford, and Thomas H. Huxley, known as Darwin’s Bulldog
Now that the shock of the Virginia Tech massacre has turned to scapegoat-hunting and finger-pointing, we can be sure that we will be offered numerous villains and causes over the next several weeks by the media.
I like free books. So I was excited when I opened a package that contained a book that I had not ordered. Apparently, I’m on someone’s list of notables, because Alfred A. Knopf thought I should have a copy of Sam Harris’ Letter to a Christian Nation.
In order to complete our trilogy of homage to the New Atheists for their wholesale dismantling of postmodernism, we need to consider the philosophical Zen-master of materialism, Daniel C. Dennett.
Sam Harris, the author of The End of Faith and Letter to a Christian Nation, seems to have become the darling of the media. His articles pop up everywhere. His latest screed against religion carries the title “Atheists surely aren’t monsters.
