In the event that you receive resources in exchange for your donation, the IRS permits you to deduct the amount given to American Vision that extends beyond the value of the materials received. To assist in determining the value of materials received in exchange for your gift, American Vision provides a donation receipt for gifts via regular mail within 2-4 weeks of donation receipt.
