Coming Preterist Debate: Joel McDurmon vs. Don Preston

American Vision is pleased to announce that Joel McDurmon is scheduled to debate full preterist Don K. Preston at Don’s . . .

2012 Preterist Pilgrim Weekend Conference

to be held in Ardmore, Oklahoma, July 19-21, 2012.

And this is not your average debate: Joel and Don will engage in a three-day debate event:

July 19, 2012: On the first night Don will take the affirmative on the resolution, “The Bible teaches that the final, end of the age coming of Christ and  the attendant resurrection from the dead, occurred at the time of the fall of Jerusalem in AD 70.” Joel will take the negative.

July 20, 2012: The very next night, they will switch roles: Joel McDurmon will affirm the resolution, “The Bible teaches a future return of Christ with an attendant resurrection of the dead.” Preston will argue the negative.

July 21, 2012: Finally, on Saturday morning, Joel and Don will both field questions for a full two hour Q&A session.
