Jack Van Impe: Wrong About Bible Prophecy, Right About Islam

Although Gary DeMar and Jack Van Impe have vastly different beliefs in regard to Bible prophecy, they can agree on Islam. TBN recently refused to air one of Van Impe’s programs because it criticized “chrislam”. Watch this episode of Vantage Point for more on the lunacy of trying to blend Christianity and Islam.

All I know, while not generalising, is that Norway and other European countries should’ve followed rule #4. In other words, don’t trust what they say, even if they’re trying to be friends with you. There may be those Muslims one can trust, but how are you really going to know that ahead of time? I bet the Norwegians and Danish thought they could too while sleeper cells were setting up shop in their cities-running convenience stores,etc.-while waiting for the right moment so they could blame the people for some example of hatred (cartoons,etc.). Now, there are Muslims visiting churches here in the USA, purporting themselves as innocent victims and friends while they case out our weaknesses (remember the ART OF WAR book’s warning about the enemy knowing our weaknesses?). Now,just like on 9/11, we’ll pay for our naivety. If we lose our religious liberty and end up like Europe with its secular governments, we’ll only have ourselves to blame for the Muslim takeover of our country.

Great new book available on Amazon—Blue Collar Faith. In short story format it uses apologetics to proclaim that Jesus is Lord and the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Other chapters emphasize that the US is a Christian nation—-Jesus is in our very constitution—signed this day in the year of our Lord. That’s not Lord Cornwallis or Lord Darth Vader beckoning us to “come to the dark side.” It’s Lord Jesus Christ! We have a Tea Party movement, but we need a grassroots “Blue Collar” faith movement: 2 Chron 7:14 If the people who are called by My name will repent of their sin and seek My face, I will hear their prayers, restore their land and return them to prosperity. We’ve maxed out our country’s credit card, our morals are in steep decline, we’re in about 5 wars/conflicts when you include Yemen and Somalia and our leaders seem more interested in political self-preservation instead of what’s best for the country. The people honor Him with their lips, but their hearts are far away from Him. Despite such bleakness, God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and self-control. It’s time for all Christians to stand up and be a bright light for the Lord–Let your light shine in such a way that people see your good works and give glory to God in heaven.

What are dispensationalists like Van Impe gonna do when 2039 gets here and the 70 years after Israel became a nation (not using the earlier date nor the 40 year generation logic) has passed and they have no other time indicator to use to try and stall the rapture. I hope the teaching is dominated by teaching that are biblical like on this site by then otherwise it’ll be interesting to see the stunts they try to pull.

    • SouthernPatriot says:

It will be similar to Edgar Whisenant and his prophecy of the Rapture when so many sold their homes, bought his little books and distributed them and otherwise “checked out” of society. Many Baptist and Pentecostal “scholars” were invited to a “debate” about Whisenant’s assertions but in actuality all were in agreement with him, except me. They let all take all the time allotted and left me about 2 minutes. During that small amount of time I quoted a couple of Scriptures and then left a challenge: “When the rapture did not occur as stated by Whisenant, call me back for a special program and I would give more than 88 reasons why it did not happen.” Of course, they never called. My secretary called and tried to make an appointment but they said they were booked up. Then I had her call them back and try to book any time over the next 10 years and the moderators were stunned and told her they would get back with her but did not. When dispensationalists are proven wrong they don’t admit it and repent, they just find something, anything to then re-date their interpretation and keep the money rolling in and controlling the congregations by fear.

    • Randy131 says:

Gary DeMar has all the right in the world to proclaim his religious beliefs, but none to denounce another Christian’s views. If Gary was really following Biblical Scipture and abiding by it, then when reading Mathew: Ch.11 Vs. 25&26, and Luke: Ch.10 Vs.21, he would decide which of the two groups Jesus was referring to that he belonged, and act accordingly toward other Christians and their beliefs. I see no humility in Gary DeMar when he denounces another Christian’s beliefs, and most of the time those who claim they know GOD’s will and plans, DON”T, and Gary DeMar is no exception. Everyone should read their Bible and decide for themselves what is true or not, for nobody else can get them into heaven, only the decisions they make on their own, and when asked of God for their own discernment, may learn the real truth, not someone else’s truth.

      • Fireplace says:

Hmmm by your standard the Bareans were out of line for questioning Paul’s preaching. Recall that Paul complimented them for their critical thinking & debate, and said we would do well to emulate them. Sure we’re to study and make decisions -but as Paul said, we’re to be prepared and have a ready answer in and out of season. 2Timothy 2:5 says we “must correct opponents….” and to study to show ourselves approved in season and out; to reprove and correct (2Timothy 2:4). Why state this if it doesn’t mean actually exposing and correcting someone on false teachings? John 7:24 gives us the responsibility to decipher and judge but to do it fairly and righteously… this Mr DeMer has done. Critical thinking, discussion, dialogue, and disagreement are all part of becoming informed and assuring that your belief and faith will stand. We can study on our own, of course, but cults and deception abound where there isn’t the free exchange of debate and input from many sources aren’t prevelent. Haha, besides, when is it not healthy for us to have our beliefs challenged so we have to explain WHY and HOW we came to whatever conclusions and belief we have?

      • Stacy T says:

When you have false teaching within the body of Christ you confront it. Jesus and Paul clearly taught this. What do you think most of the preaching to the pharisees were about? What book are you reading?

Four Stages of Islamic Treachery: Islamist Tactics Towards Non-Islamic Societies
    by Anonymous
    01 Sep, 2007

…Based On The Evidence Of 1200 Years Of Islamic History
    …- Introduction:
    - FACT #1:The goal of Islam is the subjugation of the entire world to Islam through the establishment of a global Islamic rule and the eradication of all non-Islamic populations, cultures, religions, thoughts, knowledge, symbols, traditions and ways of life. This goal is non-negotiable in fundamental doctrines of Islam and in the eyes of true Muslims.
    - FACT #2: Islamists will not stop their assault (open or clandestine) on the non-Muslim world as long as they have not achieved Islamic rule.
    - FACT #3: IN ISLAMIC TEACHING, THE END ALWAYS JUSTIFIES THE MEANS: Islamists have no respect for the rules, laws or values of the non-Islamic world, to them only the rules of the Islamic world are legitimate. In their mind, when they destroy the non-Islamic world then the rules will change to Islamic rules, laws and values.
    - FACT #4: ISLAMISTS CONSIDER TREATIES WITH NON-MUSLIMS AS NON-BINDING. When in non-Muslim countries they will pretend a social behavior as a cover up to their true intentions of domination over the non Muslim world.
*TIP: When it comes to Islamists, ALWAYS LOOK AT WHAT THEY DO, NEVER WHAT THEY SAY: Lying, treachery and deceit are the Islamists’ tactic of choice in their jihad of conquest of the non-Muslim world. This tactic (AL-TAQIYYA, or religious deception, pretending to be friends of the Non-Muslims in order to strengthen themselves against them) is a commonly practiced by Islamists. DECEPTION IS THE KEY TACTIC EMPLOYED BY ISLAMISTS.

    - FACT #5: As a rule of thumb to get the truth from any Islamist, simply reverse what they say to a non-Muslim.
    - FACT #6: The founder of Islam, MUHAMMAD WAS AN ISLAMIST.
    * Whether you able to face or ignore this harsh reality is beside the point, you will inevitably face its truth on the day you find yourself within the killing zone of Islamists.

    Stages of Islamization
    - STAGE ONE: INFILTRATION
    * First migration wave to target non-Muslim society.
    * Appeal for humanitarian tolerance from the target non-Muslim society.
    * Characterized by professed tolerance of others and their beliefs.
    * Attempts to portray Islam as a peaceful religion and Muslims as victims of misunderstanding and racism.
    * Images of women and children used to portray Muslims.
    * Establishment of mosques as power bases (today globally funded by Gulf countries oil revenue). (Mosques are safe havens for Jihadi recruitment and subversive projects).
    * Muslim leaders promote large push for increased Muslim births in target non-Muslim society to increase native Muslim population.
    * Misrepresentation of their intentions or aims as a cover up for clandestine operations.

    - STAGE TWO:

    * Assault on cultural assumptions and icons of the non-Muslim world, such as democracy, law and science.
    * Increased dissemination of anti-western propaganda and anti-western psychological warfare.
    * Efforts to recruit allies who share similar goals (Communists, socialists, anti westerns activists, anti-globalists, anarchists).
    * Alliances with the enemies of the Western society particularly anti capitalism leftists. “The enemy of my enemy is my friend”
    * Attempts to indoctrinate children to Islamist viewpoint. Efforts to infiltrate education system to propagate pro-Islamic points of view.
    * Increased efforts to intimidate, silence and eliminate non-Muslim intellectuals and leaders.
    * Efforts to introduce blasphemy laws into non-Muslim society in order to silence critics.
    * Use of charities to recruit supporters.
    * Use of crime and fraud to obtain funds to finance activities.
    * Covert efforts to bring about the destruction of non-Muslim society from within. * Development of Muslim political base in target non-Muslim society.
    * Efforts to penetrate political and legal structure of country so as to support Islamic growth from within.
    * Use of bribes and blackmail of non-Muslim authorities to get them to disregard establishment of subversive activities.
    * Islamic Financial networks strengthened to fund political growth, large acquisition of land and resources by any means (Obama bought a large land-by whose money?). (Today they are funded by Muslim charities; Gulf countries Oil revenue and criminal activities).
    * Highly visible assassination of critics aimed to intimidate opposition.
    * Tolerance of non-Muslims diminishes and greater demands are placed upon Muslims to adopt strict Islamic conduct.
    * Clandestine amassing of weapons and explosives stores in hidden locations in target non-Muslim society.
    * Continuous and covert attacks and challenges against target non-Muslim society leaders and religious symbols.
    * Overt disregard and rejection of target non-Muslim society’s legal system and culture.
    * Efforts to undermine and destroy power base of non-Muslim religions such as Jews, Christians, Hindus or Buddhists in target non-Muslim society.
    * Efforts to destroy the social structure of the country and bring the downfall of non-Muslim government (succeeded in Europe).
    * Use of Islamic gangs in campaign of fear and terror against Jews, Christians, Hindus and non-Muslims to reduce their populations and influence in the target non-Muslim society.

    - STAGE THREE:
    * OPEN WAR WITH TARGET NON-ISLAMIST SOCIETY’S LEADERSHIP AND CULTURE
    * Large-scale destruction of population, assassinations, killings, bombings. Intentional efforts to spread chaos in the target country to undermine its government and culture.
    * Acts of barbarity and fierceness as a deliberate policy intended to foster submission of opponents.
    * Open and covert efforts to cause economic collapse of the society.
    * All opposition, no matter what kind, is challenged and either eradicated or silenced.
    * Widespread ethnic cleansing with Islamic militias.
    * Rejection and defiance of target society secular laws or culture.
    * Murder of all opposition political, religious and intellectual leaders of target society.
    * Murder of all moderate Muslim intellectuals who envision other alternatives to radical Islam.
    * Toppling of government and usurpation of political power.
    * Imposition of Sharia law. (on-going)
    * Mass execution of non-Muslims, ethnic cleansing.

    - STAGE FOUR:
    * ISLAMIC THEOCRACY
    * The Qur’an and the Sharia becomes the “law of the land. ”
    * All non-Islamic human rights cancelled.
    * Freedom of speech and the press eradicated.
    * All Religions other than Islam are forbidden and destroyed.
    * Enslavement and genocide of non-Muslim population.
*Destruction of all evidence of non-Muslim culture, groups and symbols in country.
    * Images of women and children used to portray Muslims.
    * Establishment of mosques as power bases (today globally funded by Gulf countries oil revenue). (Mosques are safe havens for Jihadi recruitment and subversive projects).
    * The Qur’an and the Sharia becomes the “law of the land. ”

Thank you for sharing the outline of the Muslim goals. I have books from Muslims who are now spirit filled Christians that outline the basics. However, yours sheds more focus on their goals.
I would like to have a copy of this asap. God Bless our America, protect Israel and wake up our people who choose to sleep while others pray.

    Philippians 2:9-11

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above EVERY name:
    That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

    1 John 5:7
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

    John 1-4
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

    John 1:14
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Jesus, the Word, which is God, was made flesh.
The Lamb of God which taketh away the sins of the world
Jesus Christ, King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins Oh Lord.
Thank you for taking my place.
I should pay for my sins but don’t have to.
For you paid for them for me.
Jesus, you died in my place.
Shed your precious blood for me Oh Lamb of God.
But It did not end there.
Praise be to God, Up from the Grave he arose
    Jesus conquered death and hell.
Jesus, the ressurrection and the life. Amen
and now I can have life and have it more abundantly
    have it for all eternity.
    I have forgiveness of sin.
and for all that believe and receive Him
Jesus Christ, King of Kings and Lord of Lords

    John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believeth on him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (He loves us so much) (O:

  6. Jack says:

As far as I am concerned Gary DeMar is incorrect when it comes to the fulfillment of prophecy in A.D. 70. There are times when I’m not fully in agreement with Jack Van Impe either. Whether one believes in the post millennium or the pre-millennium is immaterial to me. What’s important to me is that one has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. I do not believe that either Gary DeMar or Jack Van Impe are date setters. What I do believe though is that the time is near. Furthermore, I believe that we are in times, if not worse, than the times of Noah; and that one should be prepared for the coming of the Lord, for He shall come when least expected. I believe with all my heart that I will see the coming of the Lord in my lifetime. If you call that date setting then I have one thing to say: I really don’t know how long I will live? For my life ended in 1974 when I died of an overdose and by the grace and mercy of God my life was given back to me. Come Lord Jesus come!

    • Barb says:

Jack, Who gave you back your life? Jesus – who is HERE and NOW or some Jesus you are waiting for? JESUS REIGNS – NOW AND FOREVERMORE! HE is here and RULING or we would be in a worse state with the Satin in full control!!

      • Jack says:

Barb, I must first thank you for your feedback even though I am not at all in agreement with you. For one, I do not believe in amillennialism. Secondly, if Jesus was reigning at this present time there would then be total peace (see Psalms 4:8); and if you haven’t noticed, there is no peace at this time: for the lamb is unable to lie next to a lion without being devoured. This peace will only take place during the thousand year reign of Christ after the tribulation period.
Furthermore, the god of this world (see 2 Cor. 4:4), Satan, is in control at this present time; but he, Satan, is held in check, limited, by God through the Power of the Holy Spirit: thereby it is God who has full control of all that takes place on this creation of His.
You asked “Who gave you back your life?”
When I was healed and delivered from a serious addiction in 1987 a Jehovah witness asked me, “Who gave you permission to be healed?” When I said “Jesus did”, they looked at me and left without saying a word.
My life is in the hands of my heavenly Father who has placed his Son the Lord Jesus Christ to be my caregiver through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus said when He left this earth that He would send a Comforter, the Holy Spirit, to be with us in His absence while He was with his Father in Heaven.
The Comforter, also known as the Holy Spirit, is our teacher, friend, healer, etc.; He, the Holy Spirit, is closer than a brother; for He dwells within us.
Barb, the peace that you may be experiencing at this time is the peace of Christ through the Power of the Holy Spirit. Be blessed!

    • Charles says:

Agreed. All the signs point to the soon return of our Lord. Nice to read your post. Mine is similar.

  7. Connie says:

Katy, I would like to concur with you that many of us in our area of the country are pre-mills, and for that very reason we are trying to spread the gospel and get the lost saved as well as do every thing we can to pray and work diligently to bring our country to its knees in repentance. We don’t when Christ will return. It may be today or it may be in many years, but we are to be about our Father’s business. Texas Gov. Rick Perry is calling our nation to come to pray for a day and fast, and we are seeking God to forgive us of all our sins and many things that our country and its citizens have done in turning away from Him. We have left our first love and have become selfish, greedy and ungodly in all respects. We need to REPENT as an individual and as Christians so that God will spare our nation and set us back on the track of our founding fathers of this great nation. I have had pastors at our chuch that taught both for and against the pre-mil view point. We just need to be ready when the Lord comes to call his children home to be with Him. Those who believe He may come at any time are more likely to be out doing the Lord’s work than those who really feel there are no signs. The thought of my loved ones being left to go through the tribulation makes me pray for them even more.

Andrew, Jesus loves you and paid for your sins on the cross so that you and I may stand before a holy God justified and forgiven. The Bible does not tell us to kill Muslims or others that do not believe as we do. Through our relationship with Jesus and the love tha he gives to us through the Holy Spirit that is God’s Spirit dwelling in us, we can love all others. I don’t want to harm you or hurt you, but to show you the love that Christ has given me, an underserving sinner who deserves Hell, but has been forgiven and redeemed from Hell by the blood of Jesus. He and He alone is God and the savior of my soul. When I stand before a holy God, the God of divine love, I will not be judged by my works, but by what I have done concerning Jesus, God’s Son who has paid th price for my soul. I have accepted the free gift of salvation for my soul through the sacrificial life of Jesus. My name is written in the Book of Life and I will be considered holy before God only because I have received Jesus into my heart as my Lord and Savior. As many have done, search your heart and ask God to show you His LOVE. Jesus is God’s show of complete LOVE. You will truly find peace and be free, knowing that you will not be judged by your own goodness. We are sinners, we cannot be good enough to satisfy a holy God.

  8. Ken Roberts says:

I will take Impe at his word on prophecy, it fits with our teaching in our church, we owe nothing but to God. Man has been a back sliding mess since the original sin . It speaks very plainly about the dead in Christ shall rise first and then those that are alive will follow. Multitudes will be saved after that but there is a catch , you will have to be martyred for Christ,…..

    • BILL says:

I AGREE ABOUT JACK VAN IMPE. HES A GREAT TEACHER AND I WISH THERE WOULD BE MORE LIKE HIM. AND WHAT TBN DID WAS SO WRONG. ANYBODY THAT PARTICIPATES IN CHRISLAM ARE NOT BORN AGAIN.

  9. Paul says:

People trying to combine the Holy Bible with the Quran be the blind leading the blind. They shall all end up in a ditch. Statues of Allah the moon god have been found in Saudi Arabia that predate Christianity. Muhammad took this minor god and made up his own religion around him with help of a wife with a Catholic background. He also married and consumated the marriage with an eight year old girl, not much of a prophet in my opinion. I read the King James version of the Bible only, I understand it and don’t need “modern” mistranslations of the Bible by people trying to make it fit what they want it to say or believe.
Islam is called by apologists to be the “religion of peace”, which is true in a way, you believe what they believe or they murder you and then there’s peace.

    • Aaron Spencer says:

Paul,I don’t mean You no disrespect when I say that You are miss informed.First,I know many Arab Christian’s and They say ALLAH(God) like any other Arabs because Arabic is their native language. Before Islam was revealed,Arab Christians & Jews used the name ALLAH(God),in the 5th century.Arab Christians also use the words Allah al-’ab(God the father), Allah al-ibn(God the son) and Allah al-al-rūḥ al-quds(God the Holy Spirit).Second,The Prophet Muhammad proved that Allah(God) is not a so called “Moon God” in the 41st Surah(Chapter)verse 37 in the Holy Qur’an.”And from among His Signs are the night and the day,and the sun and the moon.Do not bow down (prostrate) to the sun nor to the moon, but only bow down (prostrate) to “Allah” Who created them, if you (really) worship Him.”

      • chanah says:

Shalom and excuse me your wrong in saying that the Jews at the time of muhammad used the name allah, they used the name ELOHIM Adonai or YEHOVAH, never would they use a name outside the Bible and in the Hebrew Bible you will not find the name allah never and we know from the hadith that allah had 3 daughters and that allah was the chief god of the kaaba the arabs had 365 different gods one for each day, you really should read the hadith.

  10. LouiseCA says:

No. Mr. DeMar is a smart man and a good man but he is wrong on prophecy. Revelation was not fulfilled in AD70. That is ridiculous. There will be a one-world religion, government and monetary system. How obvious does it have to be? JVI may not always be correct but no one is. There is no Bible teacher who is 100% correct all the time. They’re human. They’re fallible. I haven’t read extensively on preterism, but what I did read is skewered. Mr. DeMar is right on much that he says OUTSIDE of prophecy. But to say that the teaching of eschatology is adding to the problems of the world, specifically the problem of Islam, and to accuse Hal Lindsey of being a date-setter, which he has done, and to put him on the same level as Harold Camping, is really, well, untruthful to say the very least. How anyone can study the history, culture, language, traditions, and miracles of Israel and the Jews and say that God is through with Israel, these are not the Jews of the Bible, and the church has replaced Israel..well, that’s a true mystery to me. But I am glad at least that Mr. DeMar has admitted that JVI did the right thing concerning this incident, and at least agrees that this trend towards the abomination of ChrisLam is insane. We may as well ask the devil to set up a table in the churches and sell books on the occult. It would make as much sense.

  11. joe becker says:

loved this video. very good information and all true.

I do know the prophecies will be fulfilled. but I do NOT know the timeline. I believe we are in the last days. I just don’t know how long the last days will last. could be decades. could be a century… though, I doubt it will be that long. I do know that each person has to be ready because it’s not going to be more than decades for each of us. we only have a short time on this earth whether world ends tomorrow or 100 years from now. this life could end tomorrow for anyone of us.

  12. joe becker says:

the Gospel of John starts – 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome[a] it.

this is how John begins telling us the story of Jesus. who created the heavens and the earth? God. who does this say created the heavens and the earth? Jesus. did I create the heavens and the earth? was I there when it happened? no and no. Jesus said, before Abraham, I AM.

there is no doubt that he is God. no other person on earth fulfilled the prophecies that Jesus fulfilled – the prophecies of the old testament concerning the coming messiah. God called him his son at his baptism – this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased.

you can argue until the end. but the truth is plain for all to see. you can call us political Christians all you want. Jesus is, was and always will be the one, true, living God of the universe.

and if Islam and Christianity worship the same God, then God is schizophrenic. he tells one group to love their enemies and the other to kill the infidels. Islam is a mirror image, a counterfeit of the real thing. lead by the biggest imposter, the great deceiver, satan. it is a religion so filled with hate for anyone who disagrees with them that they spit on, beat, dismember and behead them, blow them up in the public square and say Allah told me to do it. I have please allah by killing innocent people. hurray for me. I will now receive my 72 virgins and live in the lust of my flesh… how insane is that? that is so unbiblical, anti-Chrsitian – how could it come from the same God?

muhammed was violent. he didn’t start that way, but he became violent and told his followers to do the same. early verses in the quran tell muslims – or muhammedans – that Christians and Jews are their friends. later verses say, kill the infidel, Christians and Jews are infidels. the reason is that early on, Muhammed had a decent relationship with the Christians and Jews. but later, as they learned more about his beliefs, they called him a heretic – which he was. so, he turned against them with a vengeance.

his killing spree is well documented. the killing spree of the muslims which has lasted since then until now and will until the end of the world, is also well documented.

soon there will be a world government, a world currency and a world religion. islam will be that world religion. they may actually be joined with the catholics. for some reason the catholics and muslims liked the vision of Mary at Fatima – you should google that. if you understand truth, that will be an eye opener.

    • Aaron Spencer says:

Joe Becker,I don’t mean You no disrespect when I say that You are miss informed.First,,The Prophet Muhammad proved that Jesus was The Word of Allah(God) in Surah(Chapter)3 verse 45 in The Holy Qur’an.”Behold! the angels said: “O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah;” As a matter of fact,Jesus is given the title KALIMET ALLAH(The Word of God)in Islam.Second,The Prophet Muhammad proved that Allah(God)is the God of Israel in the 2nd Surah(Chapter)verse 133 in The Holy Qur’an.”Were ye witnesses when death appeared before Jacob? Joe Becker,Third,The Holy Qur’an never says”Christians & Jews are considered infidels. In the Holy Qur’an,Christians & Jews are often referred to as among the “People of the Book,” i.e. people who have received and believed in previous revelation from Allah’s(God’s) prophets.Forth,Are there some verses of the Holy Qur’an that condone “killing the infidel”?Yes,But It is clear from the context that these verses are discussing a defensive war, when a Muslim community is attacked without reason, oppressed and prevented from practicing their faith. In these circumstances, permission is given to fight back — but even then Muslims are instructed not to transgress limits, and to cease fighting as soon as the attacker gives up.Even in these circumstances,Muslim are only to fight directly against those who are attacking them, not innocent bystanders or non-combatants.

        • Aaron Spencer says:

1.2: The Embarrassment of Satanic Verses
Traditional Islamic sources admit that Muhammad was at one time inspired by Satan to put some verses into the Qur’an.
When Muhammad first began preaching in Mecca he thought that the Meccans would accept his religion. But the Meccans were not receptive to him. This made Muhammad angry and he started taunting them for years by insulting their religion and Gods. Meccans refused all dealings with him and his followers. Eventually to appease the Meccans, Muhammad recited the following Qura’nic verses,
“Have you then considered the al-Lat and al-Uzza and Manat, the third, the last … these are the exalted Gharaniq (a high flying bird) whose intercession is approved” (Q: 53.19-20)
Al-Lat, al-Uzza and Manat were some of the local idols worshiped in Mecca. Previously
Muhammad had spoken against them in his monotheist preaching but now he recited that their “intercession is approved”. This made the Meccans very pleased and the boycott was lifted shortly.
Soon Muhammad realized that by acknowledging the local idols al-Lat, al-Uzza and Manat he had made a terrible blunder. He had undermined his own position that as the sole intermediary between Allah and the people and by doing so he made his new religion indistinguishable from pagan beliefs and hence redundant. So he retracted and said the two verses acknowledging pagan idols were satanic verses i.e., the verses inspired by Lucifer, the Biblical Satan. This is Muhammad’s most embarrassing moment.
Islam crumbled in the wake of the Prophet’s satanic indulgence. Muhammad desperately tried to make amends for the satanic verses and recited the following verse.
“Surely Allah does not forgive setting up partners with Him; and whoever associates anything with Allah, he indeed strays off into remote error. They call but upon female deities. They call but upon Satan, the persistent rebel!” (Q: 4.116)
Subsequently, the relevant verses were also modified with the final form what is now in the modern Qur’an, “Have ye thought upon Al-Lat and Al-’Uzza. And Manat, the third, the other? Are yours the males and His the females? That indeed were an unfair division!” (Q: 53:19-22).

  13. JET says:

I gather that many folks ignorantly equate the Muslim Allah with Jehovah of the Bible. What I learned is that Allah was a chief idol among many idols in pagan Arabia, a hierarchy of idols. Muhammed, to get control of the people, by military means, banned all the idols except Allah, which he set up as their supreme God. This unified the people under his control. Muhammed anathematized all other idols or gods. This blasphemy is, of course, in direct conflict with God, the Bible, and with Christianity.

    • Aaron Spencer says:

Jet,I don’t mean You no disrespect when I say that You are miss informed.First,I know many Arab Christian’s and They say ALLAH(God) like any other Arabs because Arabic is their native language. Before Islam was revealed,Arab Christians & Jews used the name ALLAH(God),in the 5th century.Arab Christians also use the words Allah al-’ab(God the father), Allah al-ibn(God the son) and Allah al-al-rūḥ al-quds(God the Holy Spirit).Second,The Prophet Muhammad proved that Allah(God)is the God of Israel in the 2nd Surah(Chapter)verse 133 in The Holy Qur’an.”Were ye witnesses when death appeared before Jacob? Behold,he said to his sons: “What will ye worship after me?” They said: “We shall worship Thy Allah and the Allah of thy fathers, of Abraham, Isma’il and Isaac,- the one (True) Allah. To Him we bow (in Islam).”

How about John 10:30 when Jesus says ” I and the Father are one.” or John 14:6-7 when Jesus says, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know the Father as well. From now, on you know him and have seen him”? And there are others where Jesus proclaims himself to be God. You really need to become more familiar with what Jesus does say about himself in the New Testament and to come to have a personal relationship with Him. Jesus is the only way to the Father and to eternal life.

    • Aaron Spencer says:

Judy,You cannot build a Theology or Doctrine out of one verse in John 10:30 because if You go on reading in John 10:34-36 it says “Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods”’?35 .If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), 36 .do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’? ” So Judy,According to Jesus The Prophets(to whom the word of God came) are also called “Gods” so does that mean that They are also part of a so called “Trinity”?I think not.

      • Adam says:

        Aaron,

The background of that statement comes from Psalm 82:

        1. A Psalm of Asaph.
God stations himself in the council of God.
in the midst of the gods he judges.

        2. How long will you judge unjustly
and show partiality to the wicked?

        3. Judge the weak and the orphan;
obtain justice for the afflicted and poor.

        4. Deliver the poor and the needy;
deliver [them] from the hand of the wicked.

        5. They do not know;
        they do not understand.
        In darkness they walk about;
all the foundations of the earth are shaken

        6. I have said, “You are gods;
and all of you are sons of the most high.”

        7. But, in fact, you will die like men.
and you shall fall like one of the princes.

        8. Arise, O God! Judge the earth!
For you shall aquire all the nations!

The point of the Psalm is obvious. It is a psalm of condemnation of unjust judges ironically called “gods.” This fits well with Jesus’ context, as he accuses his accusers of falsely judging him because he has done the works of his father [vrs.36-38]. Hence, Jesus is liking them to the false judges found in Psalm 82; they would not defend the innocent, and, instead, simply wanted to slander someone who had done them no harm, and simply wanted to bring them peace and freedom from sin.

        God Bless,
        Adam

  17. Randy131 says:

Jesus taught His Apostles, and us through them, that prophecy must come to past, and is the reason He did the things that they were against and considered dangerous for Jesus and them, and which led to the completion of His Fathers plan, His crucifixion for the salvation of man. I guess Gary DeMar doesn’t believe that the prophecy of Jesus being killed had to come about either, or if he does, how does he choose and pick which prophecy is unavoidable and which can we ignore? But an even easier question for Gary DeMar is, where is the Christian humility that allows the possibility that GOD may have given the truth to another, besides what he thinks is the truth? For Jesus praying to His Father said, “Thank you Father for keeping the secrets of heaven hidden from the wise and learned, and giving it to the unlearned and childlike.” (Mathew: Ch.11 Vs.25&26, and Luke: Ch.10 Vs.21) Which of these two groups, wise and learned or unlearned and childlike, does Gary DeMar belong to? Maybe Gary Demar may owe Jack Van Impe an apology? I’m sure Jack Van Impe will admit to many mistakes of the past, but it seems that Gary DeMar doesn’t make mistakes, by the attitude that he assumes about his knowledge compared to others, since he is attempting to prove Jack Van Impe is wrong about Biblical Prophecy because he was wrong in the past, then to be right abour Biblical Prophecy you cannot have made a mistake in the past, as apparently Gary DeMar hasn’t if he is correct about Biblical Prophecy. Must be nice to perfect, or at least condemn others beliefs because they are not perfect, but preach your beliefs are true and correct, and for what reason should we believe that?

If your going to promote Christianity consistently carried over into politics dont blend it with false religions (or cults) like Roman Catholicism as you are. What kind of fellowship on a cruise can the light have with darkness. Where is the Biblical seperation in the name of the Gospel of Jesus Christ talked about in 2 Corinthians 16?

    • Todd S says:

CORRECTION: The chapter in Scripture I meant to quote at the end of my last post was 2 Corinthians 6 not 16. Biblical separation is commanded by God in the New Testament.

    • Todd S says:

      Aaron,
This is very simple. Jesus is the God of Christians. Jesus is not God according to muhammadans. Try telling a serious muhammadans that Jesus is their God and see what your ideas convey to them. You really are confused on this foundational issue. Trying to water down the differences between monotheistic religions only works on other people who are confused. Jesus is not the islamic allah but He is the 2nd Person of the Triune God of the Bible. Jews dont agree that Jesus is God either but according to the New Testament Jesus is Yahweh God of the Israel incarnate.

Todd,All my previous statements still stand also.

        • Political Christain says:

You are mistaken when you say that the New Testament teaches that Jesus was a Prophet. He never claimed to be a Prophet, yet people called Him one. His actions and deeds spoke volumes about His power as the Son of God. These actions (deeds) are also what tell us that He was, and is, God; as they demonstrate the power which only God Himself has, thereby making Jesus equal to God. Have you not read John 10:30? Jesus said very clearly that He and the Father (God) are ONE. His entire life was a fulfillment of Old Testament prophesy concerning:
          (1 ) His coming (birth)
          (2) His ministry (life)
          (3) His death, and yes
          (4) His Resurrection.
Something no other person can claim.
He didn’t say that He and the Father (God) are (like) one, but rather ARE one. Even the Jewish rulers understood this simple, yet profound statement; which is why they wanted to stone Him. Claiming to be the Son of God, thereby making Himself equal to God, was punishable by death, but Jesus went even further by clearly saying that He and the Father (God) “are One”, leaving no room for doubt as to what He meant.
This truth of being the Son of God and God Himself at the same time, cannot be understood or accepted by anyone unless it is revealed to them by the Holy Spirit. If, as you say, Jesus was a Prophet of God, then what He taught would need to be true, as God cannot lie. Jesus taught that He was the Messiah that was to come, as proclaimed by Issiah as well as many other Old Testament Prophets, hundreds of years prior to His (Jesus) birth. Jesus also taught that He and the Father (God) “are one”. So now each of us has a choice to make. We either believe that Jesus is who He said He is, which includes “I and the Father are One.” (as a true Prophet of God cannot lie); Or we refuse to believe and reject Him. Which would mean rejecting God the Father. Jesus taught us what happens to those who refuse to believe, and He also taught us what happens to those who accept Him as their LORD and Savior. The choice is ours alone to make. No one can make it for us.

        • Aaron Spencer says:

Political Christain,I think You are mistaken because Jesus says in the Book of Matthew 13:57;”But Jesus said unto them,A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.” So according to Jesus’s own words He was a Prophet. Also just like I told Judy,You cannot build a Theology or Doctrine out of one verse in John 10:30 because if You go on reading in John 10:34-36 it says “Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods”’?35 .If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), 36 .do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’? ” So Political Christain,According to Jesus The Prophets(to whom the word of God came) are also called “Gods” so does that mean that They are also part of a so called “Trinity”?I think not.

        • Kerry says:

Jesus is the Lord. Jesus also said that Abraham saw Him. John the Baptist prepared the way for the Lord, and it was Jesus that arrived and was acknowledged by John.

No one can say that Jesus is the Lord, except by the Holy Spirit.

        • Political Christain says:

          Aaron Spencer,

You are correct when you say that Jesus said ” a Prophet is not without honor, save (except) for in his own country, and in his own house”, for this is a true statement; However, you missed His point entirely, and have twisted the truth. Jesus never said that He was a Prophet, although He could have and it would have been true. Many people saw Him as a Prophet and as such, referred to Him in that manner. Stated differently, He said that for their benefit, not for self-proclamation as you claim.
However, Jesus was and is, more than a Prophet. A fact not everyone can accept.
As for building a theology based on one verse, I agree. You can’t, or at least you shouldn’t. However, that being said, to do so is no worse than to build a theology on false doctrine, which is what you appear to be attempting to do. Your post to me is a prime example of why you should take your own advice and study the facts. Jesus was NOT speaking to, or of the Prophets as you claim when He said: ” Is it not written in your Law, I have said you are gods?”. ( “gods” is with the lower case “g” as opposed to the upper case “G”. In this too, you have shown your misunderstanding of the truth of the Word of God. To those who do not understand the importance of such details, it would seem like I am making something out of nothing. But those who belong to God, understand the importance of such details.) Jesus was talking to the Jewish leaders when He made that statement. His reference was also to point out just how evil they are in the eyes of God. They had replaced the truth of the Word of God, with the teachings of man; Teaching false doctrine in place of the truth. And just as the religious leaders at that time who did not belong to God, you do not belong to Him and have shown this through your postings. If you belonged to the God of Israel, the God of Abraham, Issac, and David, you would know what Jesus was saying and knew what He was referring to.
As I stated before, you cannot understand the Word of God when read through the eyes of man. It requires the leading of the Holy Spirit to reveal the truths of the Word of God.

        • Aaron Spencer says:

Political Christain,Moses says in the Book Deuteronomy 18:15:“The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your countrymen, you shall listen to him.” And according to the Book of Acts 3:22 The Apostle Peter said that Jesus was that Prophet. So either You or the Bible is wrong,Which one is it Political Christain? You also said “Jesus said very clearly that He and the Father (God) are ONE ” but like I said that doesn’t prove that Jesus was God.The context of John 10:30-37 is that the Jews wanted to stone Jesus because They said that He was claiming to be God(The God of Abraham) but Jesus doesn’t say He was God(Deity)He said that He was The Son of God.The Bible says that Angels,Israel,Adam,Jesus,& Believers in Christ are also Son’s of God but that doesn’t mean that they are all Deity or the God of Abraham. And just because I don’t believe in Your Theological Opinion’s on what the Scripture are or aren’t saying doesn’t mean that I “cannot understand the Word of God” as You put it.

        • Political Christain says:

          Arron Spencer,
Once again, you have proven my point that Jesus wasn’t the one to say He was a Prophet, but another person. So it wasn’t an either or situation as to who was right, the word of God or me, as I was simply pointing out what anyone who has ever read the Word of God would know, should they choose to be open to God’s Word.
What I have shared are not my “theological opinions” as you claim, but the truth of the Word of God.
As for Jesus saying that He (Jesus) and God ARE ONE, but yet it doesn’t prove that He WAS and IS ONE with God, just further proves that you cannot see the obvious because you are blind to the TRUTH.
This also applies to your lack of knowledge about such things as Christians being children (sons and daughters), of God.
Since you take such pride in thinking you know what the Word of God says, and like to use references, then you should have no problem in looking up what John 3:16 – 18 plainly says concerning those who accept the TRUTH, and those who refuse to accept the TRUTH. Why do I use all caps in the word TRUTH? Simple. Look up what Jesus said about TRUTH and how the truth is in Him and He IS TRUTH.
The Gospel has been shared with you, and you refuse to believe it. Those of us on here who have shared with you the Truth, have done what we are to do. The rest is up to the Holy Spirit, which is a part of God, and yet God Himself. (Something which you cannot understand, because you do not belong to Him, who is God.)
Your disagreement is not with me, but with God Himself; As I am just sharing what He has said.
Just remember, God is patient, but only to a point. Sodom and Gomorrah are prime examples of this fact. So now the choice is yours, and yours alone to make. The choice you make will last for all eternity. Just know this, Jesus spent more time warning about the Judgment to come and what will happen to those who refuse to repent and believe, than what He did on sharing what Heaven is like.
Although I’m not a betting person, since God Omnipresent and Omnipotent, I would be willing to take odds as to who will ultimately win your argument against (with) God.

        • Aaron Spencer says:

Political Christain,Can You read & comprehend, because it’s apparent to me that You can’t.God said that He would raise up a Prophet(not his son)like Moses & Peter said that Prophet was Jesus so either You or the Bible is lying, and I’m betting that You are the Liar. The Bible never once says that God is a “Trinity” or does it ever say that Jesus is “God the Son”. Political Christain,You are failing to see that it’s just Your opinion that on what the “Truth & Gospel” are and that’s all it is Your Opinion.

        • Political Christain says:

Yes, I both can and do read and comprehend. But it’s like I said before; your argument isn’t with me, but God Himself. God never said that He would raise up a Prophet “like Peter”. Peter was a follower (disciple) of Jesus Christ. This, in and of itself, tells me that you do not know the Word of God. Anyone who has ever researched and/or studied anything about Prophets, knows that a true Prophet would not accept or desire another person to worship them, but would discourage it and insist that those who would worship them, worship and give glory to God to Whom all praise and worship rightfully belong. Both the Old and New Testaments contain good examples of this. There is one who would seek your worship, that is not worthy of it. I can only hope and pray that you do not worship him. For he is a liar and a thief. Anyone who worships him, cannot enter the Kingdom of God, but will suffer eternal separation of God in everlasting punishment. You accuse me of sharing my opinion as fact, and rightly so. As what I have shared is not my opinion as you claim, but fact; as it is based upon the Word of God. When it comes to opinions, since you refuse to believe the Word of God, all you can share is your opinion as you have no real understanding of Gods Word, nor can you as long as you refuse to believe.
As for the Bible never mentioning that God is a (The Holy) Trinity, you once again have proven my point that you may have read the Word of God, but you cannot understand it. No, the actual word “Trinity” does not appear in the Word of God, but Jesus (whom you claim to be a Prophet of God, therefore cannot lie), mentions (talks about) all three aspects of the Holy Trinity. Something He would not do if it were not so (true). So the question is: Which one is true, you, or the Word of God? I choose to believe the Word of God.

        • Political Christain says:

There is one other aspect I wanted to share but inadvertently left out, and that is this.
When I shared about a true Prophet not wanting to have people worship them, but God only; Jesus (whom you claim to be just a Prophet), never forbid anyone from worshiping Him. Something which the religious rulers of that time claimed as being blasphemy and worthy of death, which is just one of the reasons why they sought to have him killed. So if Jesus was just a Prophet as you claim (therefore He could not lie), how is it that He was able to accept the worship of man and still be a Prophet of God? The truth is, He couldn’t. So either He was guilty of blasphemy, which would make Him a false prophet, or He was and is exactly who He claims. ‘If you have seen me, you have seen the Father.”

        • bud says:

        • Just a man says:

Jesus forgave sins, many times he said this. No one, but God, can do so. Mohammed never said as much, no would he claim to. As God in the flesh, Jesus did prophesy, but then, God can do no less than a prophet, and so much more. He raised the dead, showed many miracles, and validated who he was. And the Jews still did not accept him, in large accord, just as was prophesied. It appears that you, Aaron, named after Moses’ brother….deny God incarnate too.

        • Aaron Spencer says:

Just a man,The Apostle Peter preached his first sermon to thousands of Jews gathered at Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost, saying, “Men of Israel, listen to these words: Jesus the Nazarene,a man(not God the Son) attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him(God did the miracles not Jesus) in your midst, just as you yourselves know …” (Acts 2.22).And Peter later preached to the house of Cornelius, saying, “You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him, with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good, and healing all who
were oppressed by the devil;for God was with Him” (10.38).Now notice Just A Man,in these two statements how Peter
clearly distinguishes Jesus and God, which signifies that Jesus is not God.

Oh believe You Me Fritz,I do have My facts straight.First Jesus said in the Book of John 17:21.”That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.So Fritz,According to Jesus You & Me both are One with The Father & Jesus so the question to You is Are You part of a so called “God-Head” or “Trinity”?I think not.Second,Just because Jesus said that “when asked if anyone has ever seen the Father(God), answered …’ if you have seen me, you have seen the Father(God)’’ doesn’t mean that Jesus is God,Why?Because that would mean 1 John 3:12.”No one has seen God at any time.If we love one another,God abides in us,and His love has been perfected in us.” is a lie.Third,Orthodox Jewish Rabbi’s can & has said that The New Testament is also “fake plagiarized scribble of the Hebrew Scriptures”(Old Testament) so I don’t understand Your point about The Holy Qur’an.Forth,I have already proven through History & The Holy Qur’an that Allah is The God of Abraham.Fifth,Walid Shoebat the so called “Ex-terrorist” has already been exposed as fraud so His word is not credible.

        • Katy says:

Sorry, Aaron, you are incorrect. Jesus claimed divinity, equality with the Father, the right to receive worship, and that He was the promised Jewish Messiah in numerous places in the New Testament. For starters, read the story of the woman Jesus spoke with at the well. The Trinity was also clearly present at Jesus’s baptism by John the Baptist in the river Jordan, to cite but one example. Unless we Christians are the polytheists many Muslims accuse us of being, the Trinity has to be only one Godhead with three persons present therein (the divine Mystery). Do you believe Christians are polytheists? Please answer that one for all of us readers. If Jesus is only “the Son of God” as you claim, or only an important prophet, and not God the Son also, He is not divine, and therefore not the Jesus of classical Christianity. Or if He is divine, but not part of the Trinity, you are saying Christians are polytheists. This is NOT what Christians believe. Christians believe God is One God, but the Christian God is triune (one Godhead containing three divine Persons within) The Muslim god is monistic (one Allah only with no son). No divine and co-equal Jesus or Holy Spirit. They are placed on a lesser plane below Allah. The monistic Muslim Allah therefore cannot logically be the same God as the Christian triune Godhead. Muslims are free to believe whatever they wish. So are Christians. Do not try to make their belief systems one, however. That is called syncretism, and Christians who understand the Holy Bible and their faith aren’t having any part of that. It sounds to me like you are trying to strip Jesus of His divinity. Do you believe Christians are polytheists who worship many gods? Or is Jesus not divine? You can’t have it both ways. Please answer this question.

        • Aaron Spencer says:

Katy,The Bible says that Angels,Israel,Adam,Jesus,& Believers in Christ are also Son’s of God but that doesn’t mean that they are all Deity or the God of Abraham. Also The Bible never once says that God is a “Trinity” or does it ever say that Jesus is “God the Son”.Katy,The Bible says in the Book of Exodus 20:1-3.”And God spoke all these words, saying: 2 .I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3 .You shall have no other gods before Me.” Now Katy I want You to notice that God says “I & Me” not “We or Us”.Katy,You asked Me “Do you believe Christians are polytheists who worship many gods?” Well I think that I & The Bible just answered Your question.

        • Katy says:

Aaron, in the beginning of Genesis, in Chapter 1 Verse 26, God said, “Let Us make man in Our image.” He also refers to Himself as Us in other places in Scripture. In the original language first used to write the Old Testament, the word used (I believe it was Aramaic), actually means “a plurality contained in one”. That is Jewish Scripture, which is part of the Old Testament. Christians believe in both the Old and New Testaments as the Holy Word of God. How does that square with the Jewish daily prayer: “Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord our God is One?” Christians agree with that. How can Jewish Scriptures say “Us” in several places, and their sacred prayer says “One?” Christians understand this well. There is one God but He has three persons within Him. Since God is divine, there is nothing He cannot do. Are you limiting the power of God? Can He not be One with three persons within if He wishes? It is like a human man being able to be a father, son, uncle and brother all at the same time, even though he is just one man. Neither Jews nor Christians are polytheists. We do not worship many gods. We worship one God. We would recoil in horror from that accusation. Islam must not teach that about Christians. Since you are not a Christian, can you truly know what we believe? Genesis also mentions the Spirit of God in Chapter 1, verse 2. It says that the Spirit goes out from God and hovers over the waters which God created. This has to be part of the One God. It is not a separate God, since Jews are monotheists. Also in Psalm 139, verse 7, God’s Spirit is mentioned, and the writer says he cannot hide from Him. So there is definitely a Spirit of God in the Jewish Old Testament, as well as the Christian New Testament. The Holy Spirit is part of the truine single Godhead. Again, it is a divine mystery. You said that the Holy Bible does not say “We and Us.” Yes, it does. God uses both “I and Me” and “We and Us” to refer to Himself in different parts of the Holy Bible. So all are true. Also, see in the King James Bible a blatant Trinity reference in 1 John (1 John, not the Gospel John). In 1 John, Chapter 5, Verse 8 it says: “There are three that are present in heaven: the Father, the Blood (Jesus), and the Spirit, and the three are One.” I want to thank you for at least being open about the fact that Muslims believe Christians are polytheists. If you really believe that, and Allah is monistic, how can Muslims possibly say that Allah and the Christian God are the same? It is logically impossible. It is just as impossible if the One Christian God is truine. There can never be a meeting of the minds on this issue. Allah and the Lord God Jehovah are different. We agree that there shall be no other gods before God. Pagans worship many gods. Christians and Jews DO NOT. But they do not worship Allah. They worship Jehovah. What does Islam believe about Jehovah?

        • Aaron Spencer says:

Katy,Yes I agree that God said “let us make man in our image,But The ancient & modern Israelites NEVER understood this as a meaning that God was a Trinity. Some Rabbi’s interpret that this verse is saying that God was talking to the Angels,But I dont believe God was talking to angels in Gen.1:26…Why would He councel the creation of man saying “Let US make man” to created beings?I believe that, sense God made all things, including man,by Himself,He was obviously talking to Himself.Haven’t you ever sat back and said “Hmm, let’s (LET US) see,”? Katy,The Prophet Muhammad proved that Allah(God)is the God of Israel in the 2nd Surah(Chapter)verse 133 in The Holy Qur’an.”Were ye witnesses when death appeared before Jacob? Behold,he said to his sons: “What will ye worship after me?” They said: “We shall worship Thy Allah(God) and the Allah(God) of thy fathers, of Abraham, Isma’il and Isaac,- the one (True) Allah(God). To Him we bow (in Islam).”Also You might find it Interesting,But Allah in the Qur’an also says “Us & We” & That Allah has a Holy Spirit in Surah(Chapter)2 verse 87.” We gave Moses the Book and followed him up with a succession of apostles; We gave Jesus the son of Mary Clear (Signs) and strengthened him with the Holy Spirit. Is it that whenever there comes to you an apostle with what ye yourselves desire not, ye are puffed up with pride?- Some ye called impostors, and others ye slay!”

        • Aaron Spencer says:

Katy,There is one other aspect I wanted to share but inadvertently left out, and that is this. You believe that Jesus is God,Jews don’t believe that Jesus is God(But Jews do believe that Allah is God) so You don’t both worship the Same God(Jehovah). Also Jehovah(English) isn’t God’s true name because the Bible was originally written in Hebrew & the Hebrew name for God is YHVH -Yahweh.

    • Wanda says:

Their Allah is the moon god, does not have a son and it is against the first commandment of OUR GOD–bringing in abominations to God’s house was the main reason for the fall of Sodom and Gomorrah……..Do some research on Allah before you compare him to My Heavenly Father.

      • Aaron Spencer says:

First of all Wanda,The Prophet Muhammad proved that Allah(God) is not a so called “Moon God” in the 41st Surah(Chapter)verse 37 in the Holy Qur’an.”And from among His Signs are the night and the day,and the sun and the moon.Do not bow down (prostrate) to the sun nor to the moon, but only bow down (prostrate) to “Allah” Who created them, if you (really) worship Him.” Second of all,The Prophet Muhammad proved that Allah(God)is the God of Israel in the 2nd Surah(Chapter)verse 133 in The Holy Qur’an.”Were ye witnesses when death appeared before Jacob? Behold,he said to his sons: “What will ye worship after me?” They said: “We shall worship Thy Allah and the Allah of thy fathers, of Abraham, Isma’il and Isaac,- the one (True) Allah. To Him we bow (in Islam).” So Wanda,How can Muslims break the First Commandment when They believe & worship the Same God who said the First Commandment?

    • Ken says:

Aaron you are an idiot. The moooslim allah is a pagan moon god!!! A fake and a fraud. My God is the LORD GOD not a fake moon god. Notice the difference. A capital G (respect) for the real God. A little g (no respect) for any fake god (satan’s minions) of which the mooslim allah fits into.

      • Ken says:

Aaron, correction, YOU ARE A FOOL! Apparently when we stand before the Lord God (not the moon god) I will be on the right side of the Father’s throne and you will be found on the left side of His throne.

        • Aaron Spencer says:

I just love how people like to quote from the Bible but they don’t like to live it out.Ken Jesus said in the book of Matthew 7:1-2“Judge not, that you be not judged. 2.For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged;and with the measure you use,it will be measured back to you.” So I don’t think that You are in any place to say whether ” I will be on the right side of the Father’s throne and you will be found on the left side of His throne ” as You put it.So James You need to realize that You are going to stand in Judgement before The Only One True God(Allah,Yahweh,Jehovah-The God of Abraham) and He might say to You “Depart From Me”.

      • Aaron Spencer says:

So Ken instead of proofing Your arguement You resort to namecalling, very mature of You.Also You need to understand that I know many Arab Christian’s and They say ALLAH(God) like any other Arabs because Arabic is their native language. Before Islam was revealed,Arab Christians & Jews used the name ALLAH(God),in the 5th century.Arab Christians also use the words Allah al-’ab(God the father), Allah al-ibn(God the son) and Allah al-al-rūḥ al-quds(God the Holy Spirit). Also You need to understand that The Prophet Muhammad proved that Allah(God) is not a so called “Moon God” in the 41st Surah(Chapter)verse 37 in the Holy Qur’an.”And from among His Signs are the night and the day,and the sun and the moon.Do not bow down (prostrate) to the sun nor to the moon, but only bow down (prostrate) to “Allah” Who created them, if you (really) worship Him.”

Muslilms and Christians have a vast difference in who God’s chosen people would descend from. The Muslim religion believes Ishmael was given the blessing of God but the Bible clearly points out that the blessing was through Isaac. The birth of Isaac was miraculous since Sarah was beyond childbearing years. Ismael was born of the flesh. All throughout the scripture it is evident that we must come to God by faith. The whole book of Romans is about faith saving us and not works. Muslims have to work to be justified. Christians must put their trust by faith in Christ and His blood shed on the cross to wipe our sins away. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting lifee. Nothing we do will ever get us to heaven on our own merrits. It is only by accepting the free gift of Christ’s shed blood that we can gain eternal life.

  20. Richard says:

Van Impe becomes Van Wimpy when it comes to owning up to his false prophecies.

    • fritz says:

Van Impe has done the right thing to awake people of the coming of the ‘End Times’
In the Bible it says that no-one knows the day or the hr, but is advised to heed the signs of the end.
      I’m paraphrasing, of course.
Van Impe is a basic Bible Scholar and knows the scriptures very well.

  21. Gordon says:

    Mr. Demar;
Thank you for a direct, trenchant, but respectful defense of Rev. Van Impe. I have a question for you…after an admission.

I also recall listening, at the home of relatives in Indianapolis, IN, more years ago than I care to admit, to a 33 1/3 vinyl recording of Jack warning listeners of the coming Gog and Magog battle. Oh how the years pass with these unfulfilled “prophecies” going under the historical bridge into Forgetfulness.

You are so right (here comes the question!): Islam is, at every critical point, no only incompatible with Christianity but violently antogonistic. To cite the first issue that comes to mind, how can any christian even consider compromise with a religious worldview which denies that Jesus of Nazareth died on a Roman cross? How can there be an atonement and forgiveness of sins in such a hideous scenario. Islam teaches, in fact, that Jesus was a failure. The Gospel proclaims God’s victory.

The question: many years ago, some evangelical leaders were instrumental in effectuating what amounted to the conversion of an entire heretical movement/denomination (Armstrong’s Worldwide Church of God) back into the fold of historic Christianity. Are there any elements of that story that might, on a worldwide basis, be replicated in the case of Islam? Is there somewhere a Martin Luther or Girolamo Savanarola in Islam whom God will use to lead muslims worldwide, not back to its foundation, but forward to its Saviour?

  22. Andrew says:

I’ve seen for a while how the pre-millers empower the socialist crowd by refusing to stand for the biblical solutions to the world’s problems, thereby letting the socialists carry out their so-called solutions, but I had not seen the connection to Islam until you pointed it out. It’s amazing the damage bad theology can do on all fronts. Thanks for the wake up call. Please keep sounding the alarm, it is most helpful for Christians like me who are really starting to see holes in our default theology!

    • Katy says:

Andrew, not all pre-millers have their heads in the sand. I know of at least 16 in my own circle of acquaintances who are active politically, taking stands in their state for righteousness and morality. They also happen to be pro U.S. Constitution, pro tea party, absolutely opposed to socialism, and they are out there doing something about it. Didn’t Jesus say, “Occupy until I come?” If you believe that as a Christian, it doesn’t matter what your rapture philosophy is (pre, mid, post, or a-). You will obey Jesus’s words and be involved. Please don’t use blanket statements like out simply because you are frustrated with how things are going in America right now or frustrated with one particular man.
