In the 1980s the Communist governments in Eastern Europe began to realize that they were losing power. The Communist grip on the minds of the people was loosening. The Communist public schools were failing to produce young people loyal to the Party and to the Marxist ideology. The populations in Eastern Europe were increasingly resentful of the dictatorships, and local bureaucrats in many places had trouble imposing their will on the reluctant people. Information about the West was penetrating the borders, and Marxism was considered a joke everywhere. Those more courageous were doing everything they could to run the blockade on the borders and flee to the West. The natural course of events was against the Communist dictators, and they knew their days in power were numbered. Marxism had lost credibility; and Communist governments were losing legitimacy everywhere.
So they decided to try the last gamble of all dictators: Provoke their populations to anger and ultimately insurrection. The ensuing chaos wouldn’t have restored the credibility of Marxism; but the dictators hoped that it would at least give their governments some “legitimacy” as “restorers of peace and public order.” Or, if it didn’t restore their legitimacy, at least it would destroy the legitimacy of the anti-Communist opposition. When everyone’s legitimacy is destroyed, then there are no absolute moral directives for action. And there is nothing that Communists do better than winning in a morally relativistic universe.
So the policy of “an iron fist in a velvet glove” adopted after the death of Stalin was gradually reversed. The iron fist was once again clad in an ugly spiked gauntlet. The first example was the Afghanistan war – a senseless war that didn’t produce any benefits to the Soviet regime or society. A whole generation of young people of all the nationalities in the Soviet Union grew in the fear that they would be sent to fight in Afghanistan. The Soviet government had the resources and the opportunities to withdraw at any time, but the war was used for provoking the populations to anger and fear. In addition to it, in many places in Eastern Europe governments re-directed food supplies in such a way as to deprive certain cities or regions of food – creating long lines of people waiting to buy basic foods. Other cities and regions were oversupplied, thus creating mutual resentment between groups of populations. In Poland, the government pulled all meat products from the market and started shipping them to the Soviet Union, thousands of tons by rail. When the Polish people revolted against this policy, the government imposed martial law, and requested “foreign aid” from other Eastern European nations, thus depleting their scarce supply of food. All throughout Eastern Europe Communist secret police and special forces (gendarmerie) could be seen patrolling the streets. The old curfews of the WWII were revived and enforced. The author of this article was in Potsdam, Eastern Germany in 1986, witnessing a column of almost 200 Soviet tanks parading down a busy downtown street in the middle of the day, blocking the traffic for almost 3 hours.
Faithful to its racist heritage, Communism didn’t hesitate to use the historic divisions or animosity between the different kins, people groups, nationalities, and races. Where such divisions existed, they were fostered even further by different kinist and racist theories. Where they didn’t exist, they were created. Under the pretense of “preserving ethnic heritages,” the 1980s saw the Communists emphasizing the ethnic differences and alternately oppressing and favoring minorities, thus encouraging mutual enmity and distrust between people groups.
In many places whole regions were deliberately harassed. In Bulgaria, my home country, the chemical factories of Russe, the fourth largest city in the nation, were set to full production mode without smoke- and fume-absorbing devices. For weeks a population of 300,000+ was literally choked by the unbearable concentration of acids in the atmosphere. The first revolt in Bulgaria in the fall of 1989 started right there, in Russe, and was crushed by the police with cruelty that reminded everyone of Stalin’s times. Whole populations were moved, or forced to do things repugnant to them. Private homes were seized for government purposes. Towns were evacuated and destroyed in large government projects.
Communist propaganda became even more disgusting, brazen-faced, and insolent. Even in the times of the perestroyka, the more Communism failed, the more the media praised its economic and social achievements. Everyone knew it was lies, including the propagandists. But the goal was not convincing people anymore, nor changing their minds.
The goal was to provoke them to anger, and ultimately to rebellion. The more abusive, openly lying, disgusting the Communist governments became, the better the chance for the people to revolt. The government had its human shields to protect it from such an insurrection – the police, the gendarmerie, the secret police. The goal was to get some of those human shields killed by those who couldn’t bear it anymore. Once some of the pawns got killed, the governments could find an excuse to use full-fledged violence against the “hooligans,” and thus destroy the opposition before it was too late.
Similar tactics were used by the British in America in the 1770s. The British government felt it was losing its power over the colonists, so it did everything it could to provoke them to rebellion, which could be crushed without a loss of legitimacy. The human shields, the agents of provocation were the British tax-collectors. Indeed, the first victims of the Revolution were not British soldiers, but British tax-collectors. Other dictatorships in history, when at the end of their ability to maintain their power, have used the same tactics.
President Obama and the puppet masters behind him are obviously resorting to the same age-old techniques these days.
This time the human shields are the TSA agents. The provocation is the new rules of airport screening.
Of course, there is nothing logical about it. Sexual molestation of little boys and girls contributes nothing to security. Porno scanners do nothing to detect explosives. It isn’t true that the scanners are safe, and there is no study that says that they are safe. TSA lies through its teeth when they say the porno scanners are safe. The humiliation of women and elderly people is deliberate – in fact, as becomes more and more obvious, it will accelerate to make sure more people get offended by it. It is obvious pilots don’t have to go through scanners – does a pilot really need explosives to crash a plane? It is a well-known fact that El Al offers a much better system that involves a fraction of the staff and an even less in terms of cost with a higher level of security. It is obvious good decent Americans – white, black, Hispanic, Asian – don’t need to be strip-searched as criminals. When was the last time a white, black, Hispanic, or Asian American blew up a plane? Or when was the last time a white-haired good old lady in a wheelchair blew up a plane? It is obvious TSA works frantically to protect the perverts among its employees – which means all of them – from any legal action involving their acts of perversion. And it is obvious that the porno scanners were part of a big scheme of corruption, putting even more of the tax-payers’ money into the pockets of Soros and Chertoff.
There is no logic in the actions of the present administration, and there is no logic in the actions and words of the TSA administration.
Or, rather, there is. TSA is on a mission: Get as many Americans mad as possible. Get them to hate the TSA agents to such a degree as to revolt. Maybe get a few of those TSA agents assaulted by those decent, freedom-loving Americans that can’t take it anymore. If possible, do it before the new Congress starts its session.
In addition to it, more and more the leftist establishment spews out disgusting propaganda and lies. Soros openly advises Obama to ignore the will of the American people and rule through executive orders, like a General Secretary of a Politburo. It goes against the very meaning of America, and it certainly doesn’t make Soros more popular, but his goal is not popularity anymore. He is there to provoke America to anger. Warren Buffett sends a “thank you” letter to the administration that makes the majority of the financial and business professionals in the US wonder if the old man has been smoking something really strong these last weeks. There is not a single point in the actions of the Federal government in the last two years that had any visible positive impact on the economy. So what is Buffett thanking for? But again, logic and truth are not his goal. It’s all part of the greater plot to make us all angry, to make us revolt and give the Federal government that legitimacy that it is lacking. What’s missing is Bill Gates’ presence in the media to tell us how many millions of jobs were created by the closing of tens of thousands of businesses in California due to the environmental protection laws.
MSNBC, CNN, and other Communist media keep saying things that are outrageously untrue, and in fact deliberate lies. And one of the pawns of the establishment just said the other day, publicly, that he wants to see FCC close FoxNews. In the name of Marx and Engels, and Lenin, he forgot to add.
In the midst of all this Obama is silent about the porno scanners and the humiliation millions of Americans are going through at the airports. He is instructed by his masters to remain silent so more people get angry and (hopefully) revolt.
Their hope is that a few TSA agents will be assaulted or worse. Then, the leftist establishment hopes to have its lost legitimacy back.
But they are mistaken. Americans may revolt – or they may decide to use the peaceful political process that is so terrifying to the leftist establishment these days. There may be insurrection, or civil disobedience – or there may not be. But even if the hopes of the leftists come true, that won’t create legitimacy for their agenda. It didn’t in Eastern Europe. It didn’t in the American Revolution. It never does. People never forget who started the provocations. Eventually those that live by the sword die by the sword.
The Bible tells us that no matter how powerful those earthly powers are, God laughs at them from His throne. As long as there are a handful of Christians willing to stand against the tyranny and injustice, leftists’ plots will be thwarted and defeated. Obama, Soros, Buffett, and the other leftists better learn their history quick, before it’s too late.

What a great piece of writing, Mr. Marinov. Thanks for the reminder about what a great country this was and can be again, I believe. I remember how much freedom and ability to expand and investigate the world we had when I was a kid. I remember how dismayed I was when I got back from my service in Viet Nam. I looked around and could almost smell the degradation. To me it was quite palpable – just didn’t know what to ascribe it to. No One I knew or that I talked to had any idea what I was talking about – when I dared to talk about it with anyone. The enemy – the Devil – is just so crafty (sly, insidious, nigglingly pretentious as regards his political and social goals, “The Accuser” is a fitting name from the Word – just always accusing his detracters).
Well anyway, I think it would be interesting to get a whole bunch of believers to start praying in alignment with I Timothy 2:1-4. Do w’hat God asked us to do and see what happens. I know! It sounds crazy – “Pray for kings (Presidents) and all those who are in authority…” Who wouldwant to pray for those idiots? Aren’t they the ones who put us in this awful mess? Yes, but …! That isn’t the end of it. Just keep readin’, folks – just keep readin’. What’s the purpose of praying for those bums? Well, “…that WE may live quiet and peaceable lives in all godliness and honesty (reverent, dignified sobriety)”.
The way I figure it, “quiet and peaceable lives” is the last thing those numbnuts want for us. But, when we pray according to God’s Promises (in the things of His name- reputation, desires and assured ability) He says He’ll do it. If we believe for it, it must happen. If not, then somebody’s a liar ( I don’t think it’s Him).
So, pray for it for your wife, kids, pastor, police chief – whoever, just do it and see if the Enemy’s foothold doesn’t begin to slip. NOTHING CAN RESIST GOD ALMIGHTY OR PRAYERS ALIGNED WITH HIS WORD.

For the nay sayers who disagree with Mr. Marinov because of the limited scope of their world view, let me further illuminate. Heyek in his masterful book, “The Road to Surfdom” expounded upon the economic and social aspects of socialism, communism, and nationalism, to name a few – here he demarcated these tendencies and rather remarkably denoted the outcome of all forms of socialism, eventually lead to totalitarianism, because of the false pretense by which they assend to power. Another publication which will further enlighten those who offer criticism, thus revealing their ignorance – “The Foundations of Social Order” by Rousas John Rushdoony. When in the case of government usurpation of the rights of the individual is congealed into a product of providing an unwanted service against the wishes of those being served by it, the common good is aserted above the rights of the individual, thus violating the prime directive of the constitution and the sovereign rights of the individual. This is the beginning of totalitarianism, when the assitance of government [TSA] is forced upon the individual, inspite of the truth that the chosen form of assistance, violates the lawful character of government as it is so obviously described in our constitution.

Yes it was the Hegelian Dialectic at work to be sure. First they separate the races and stir up animosity then the communists come in as Saviors to bring peace. The communists knew the inherent strengths of keeping the races and ethnic heritages in tact. It fosters community and Christian order especially. The only way to destroy the Christian ethic and culture was to destroy the ethnicities and races by creating a single communist culture with all people giving up their identity. History says that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was both a Communist and a Civil Rights advocate. How could this be, given Mr. Marinov’s observations?
Marinov either must admit that MLK’s policies were destructive, or he must admit that Communist propaganda (of the MLK sort) is fundamentally opposed to racial solidarity (contrary to what was argued in the article.)

The TSA is desperate to avoid protests
Shutting down the “National Opt-Out Day” by turning off the machines is the only logical move for the TSA, of course: The agency needed a way to defuse the growing grassroots resistance to its criminal violations of Americans’ Fourth Amendment rights. So instead of facing what was sure to be widespread protest, the agency simply decided to turn off the machines for a day.
This action tells us all sorts of fascinating things about the TSA and its fabricated security excuses. Perhaps most importantly, it proves that the naked body scanners are not needed for air travel security in the first place. When it wants to, the TSA can just turn the machines off and resort to baggage X-rays and metal detectors. That’s worked for years, and it apparently worked today, too.
And yet, up until today, the TSA has insisted that the naked body scanners are absolutely essential to detecting hidden bombs, and that “travelers won’t be safe” unless they use the naked body scanners. So all of a sudden today it’s okay for the TSA to put air travelers at risk of being blown up?
The TSA can’t have it both ways. Either the naked body scanners are vital for air security and they need to be running 24/7 to keep everybody safe, or they’re just another security con game being played out for the financial benefit of Chertoff and others who profit from the sale of such machines.
How can the TSA — with a straight face — say that naked body scanners are vital for air security but not on the busiest air travel day of the year?
As you can see, there are some serious holes in the TSA’s mythology, and interestingly, this National Opt-Out Day indirectly exposed them by getting the TSA to turn off the naked body scanners. This action by the TSA also shows that the TSA is desperately trying to avoid being publicly embarrassed by the national-opt-out day protests. Lots of local and national news film crews were out at the airports today, hoping to catch something interesting on camera. But by turning off the naked body scanners, the TSA was able to stage a “calm looking” day at the airport.
As soon as the TV cameras leave, however, they can turn those machines right back on and start molesting people once again. This is classic behavior of police state tyrants: They present a calm, professional image to the media, but once the cameras leave, all of a sudden their hands are back down in your pants.
I predict the TSA will have the machines turned right back on by Friday, and more reports of sexual molestation and inappropriate pat-downs will continue to emerge.
Many people just skipped the airports altogether
The other big travel news today was that lots of travelers decided to simply skip the airports altogether. NaturalNews received emails from several travelers who described major U.S. airports as “nearly empty.”
Meanwhile, traffic was terrible on the freeways. The Massachusetts Turnpike played host to a 30-mile traffic jam today (http://www.thebostonchannel.com/r/2…).

Upon returning home from the service in 2005, I realized so many historically Socialist and Communist Trademarks had made it into “The Heartland”. I’m from the Miami Valley in southwest Ohio. While gone, periodically I would find myself around Home’s “media”. So I could see the obsurdity being spewed by “Absolutely Every Media Outlet But Fox News Channel” ! It was outraging. But it did not disuade us. For one we knew the Truth. Secondly, us Soldiers know how to change a channel on the TV and turn a dial on the Radio.
But what disturbed me was what I had not been prepared for… Coming Home… It wasn’t the place I left behind. It isn’t Home anymore to me… It’s just where I hang my hat at the end of the day… Home was a place I Loved So Much, that I would give my life for it (and so many times I truly believed that that statement was an unavoidable reality). I abruptly came to a very painful revalation… Vietnam Vets, I feel you… Everyone seemed to have been brainwashed, replaced by pod-people or something. I just couldn’t wrap my head around the Animosity and Contempt, the down-right Hatred so many harboured towards my kind. Reporters showing clips and telling an entirely different reality from what the images were showing. I know, because I was there when alot of this later,retro-babble-footage was filmed. And what blew my mind, was that people were swallowing it up hook line and sinker. I guess it’s true what someone once said “In the Absence of Truth,Sensationalism will Suffice”.
I’m aware that I gave Americans too much credit back then… I assumed they in general was smarter than that. Unfotunately though, It is only now after years of repudiation that the collective of Americans are waking up. Sorry Charlie, but to tell you the truth… You’re too late… We knew the Truth but noone would listen to us. We (America) will have to pay the price that others have had to pay before us. This is not just a reflection of History to the FDR days. Look around you. Concerning these frantic policies and last-ditch efforts on the part of the failing communist bureaucracy, is the failing establishment in American currently engaging in any similar acts?
You mentioned the mis-appropriation of food and goods to stir up racial strife. This seems directly opposite to what the American establishment is doing. We find them fostering racial harmony nationwide, preaching against “racism” in favor of unity and letting non-white immigrants through the borders at astounding rates.
If Communists have an ideology of racism in which they try to foster racial differences among the populace, why are we seeing almost the exact opposite policies being implemented as our government trends towards socialism?

JAFO, You got it right. I was in Nam with the 1st Marine division for three years. and I came home to a place I did’nt recognize. The “great silent majority” may not have liked enemy flags in our streets but they did’nt lift a finger to stop it. They dropped out of sight so they also dropped out of mind. They infiltrated and infested our schools and quietly began spreading thier poison there. I’d gone to counter-insurgency school so I did’nt think they were gone. I saw them accomplish one of the classic first goals, “First, gain control of a legitimat pre-existing political party and bend it to your will”. Of course the leftist media lies.When have they not? In my three years in the field, I never witnessed one single willful murder, nor saw any babies killed. But, what did they call us? In early summer of ’68 all these rumors started going around about ‘Villes being “wasted”. We never did this so I wondered who was. I asked Men from 1st, 5th, and 7th Marines as well as Army 1st Cav and 101st airbourne. Negative answers everytime. My Lai 4 was evidently the only one. The press never mentioned once the nature of My Lai 4, though. It’s hustory. Who and what they were. Yeah, man. We feel you right back. We know what you’re dealing with.

Great start on laying out for people to see the disease that’s stating to fester. The bottom line just might be what the Constitution says about the taking away our liberties and freedoms. It’s the peoples obligation to remove the oppressive government and replace it with another that stays within the dictates of the Constitution.
I agree with Lea, Regenerated, and Silas above. Communists were the ones who invented the concept of “racism” that Mr. Marinov holds so dear. Their sowing ethnic discord was for the purpose of creating common enemies in order to destroy ethnic loyalties. The communist-backed black nationalist movement in the U.S. is a perfect example of communists using race to destroy race.
Your observation and the timeliness of it is far more dire than you may realize. I have witnessed the militant ferver of union meetings where just such an example was more than evident, it was a real eye opener. It’s amazing how people behave among outsiders they think are insiders. This in fact takes me back to the 80′s to my days in basic training, when my African American Drill Seargent warned us of the very same tendencies he had observed, I doubt that sleeping dogs will remain silent when the bell sounds, nor will they ask for whom it tolls.
Bojinars article is more providential than prophetic, there are no certain ticks in the movement of a clock that are more or less dependent upon its predecessors, they simply are what happens next.

Thank you so very, very much for writing this article. You have no idea how much you have spoken from my heart. I, too, am from “over there”, and although I come from a more “privileged” country in Europe, I have SEEN and experienced what happened. I was there. I had relatives in DDR and Rumania. I had friends in Bulgaria and Tschechoslovakia.
I try to get people to UNDERSTAND and see, that the TSA strategy has NOTHING to do with security, and EVERYTHING with people control. Americans don’t want to listen. They have been so secure in their freedom the past decades, they don’t want to have their boat rocked. They are complacent. Ripe for National Socialism.

Mr. Marinov is rather repetitious isn’t he? Does he believe that people groups are other than nations? Does he even believe that races exist? Perhaps he believes that Paul’s head was removed due to the love he had for his kin. Is he actually going to employ a Marxist term in order to speak against them? Does Mr. Marinov know anything at all about anything at all?
Why do comments like these exist? where are they coming from?

Great article – spot on. Now that the TSA has set about the only mission it can achieve – creating problems, the Kabuki Congress can rush to the rescue and show us just how concerned they are about the entire situation. They’ll call for hearings; they’ll “grill” a few folks about “going too far” or being “out of balance” between security and privacy, all the while failing to conceal their true fear – the average citizen. Then, they’ll determine the yes, mistakes were made and people went too far. We’re really, really sorry that all those folks were humiliated. They will really agree, there was not enough “communication” with the little people, but golly, everyone meant well. They only had OUR safety in mind. Eventually after a little posturing, they will come up with a bold, breathtaking solution – bigger budgets, bigger staff and more training and all will be right with the world. Then we the esteemed little people are to crawl back in our holes and go back to sleep until the next outrage. What happens to arrogant fools when the plan doesn’t work as advertised? 1. When was the last time “good decent” ANYONE blew up a plane? A silly statement, to say the least.
2. Do you now support racial profiling? Isn’t that what the Kinists do, Mr. Marinov? The same Kinists whom you are jabbing throughout this article?
I believe communism did put ethnic group at one anothers throats. However, the point is that they kept the people divided so that they could eventually unite them all as one people group. Mr. Marinov also only tells half the story. Like all conquerors of old the Communists repatriated people groups to other locales seeking to destroy their identity into a bland pastiche of sameness. Bojidar is being selective in his historical memory.
For example, in America, the communists promoted Black Nationalism in order to make MLK’s civil rights movement seem tame by comparison. They seed ethnic discord only so they can posit the unificationist solution. A solution that is eliminates all ethnic distinctions.
The key is that they use minorities to suppress the majority population from rising up against them and then enter into the fray claiming that they are just “trying to keep the peace.” It’s all a game to destroy everybody but the party. In their hegelian dialectic they use race to destroy race. Mr. Marinov misses this completely. Their using of the races is the Hegelian Dialectic on parade.
One simply can’t be a communist and a kinist because their system demands centralization and kinism advocates decentralization. One wishes that Mr. Marinov understood this better.
