Marriage is an establishment of God, a creation ordinance, set forth in Genesis and reiterated by Jesus in Matthew 19. If the Bible isn’t true, and isn’t the standard we should live by, then marriage shouldn’t exist at all. Attempting to rationalize and sanction homosexual marriage is ludicrous and inconsistent with an atheistic worldview.

If Marriage is an establishment of God then why is the Government involved at all. There should be no such thing as legally married – no punishments for it and no benefits for it either.
Gays are wrong.
I don't agree with gay marriages. If two women or to men want to live together, so be it. It can be called a gay union, but not a marriage. The gay marriage cropped up so they could get government benefits the same as a married couple. The gays or the government do not need to defile the sanctity of marriage between a man & woman. As one comment stated, call it a queeriage and give them the same benefits. God does condone these unions, but a benevolent forgiving God will not interfere with these union on earth. God will deal with the issue in the afterlife. God lets all of us make our own decisions good or bad, right or wrong. Jesus gave us Gods message, each person needs to make his choice on who to follow.

If it were not for my Jesus, I would have probably done away with myself long ago….but…he has saved me from certain death more than once, so – I am supposed to be here for some reason. I live in Chicago and the Republicans thought it would be a good idea to bring in Alan Keyes to run against Obama for the Senate seat. He tanked! I had high hopes for the guy but he did not deal with the issued during the debate, he used it as a pulpit to preach. He did not debate Obama, he didn't engage him. If he would have he could have buried him! He always tries to run for pres and never can get votes. Ron Paul is the guy to beat Obama, or someone like him.
Gary, We shouldn't even be accepting the words "homosexual marriage". Homosexuality can't be a marriage. Marriage can only be between one man and one woman. But, you are right, homosexual acts, whatever else you call them, aren't equal to heterosexual marriage. Of course, Jesus and many of the Apostles were unmarried. That, too, needs to be considered, and there is nothing wrong in either marrying in Christ, or remaining unmarried in Christ. America needs freedom in this manner. America needs God's forgiveness. America needs spiritual hope, which can only come from Christ. Not from political solutions to what are basically spiritual problems.
Merely voting against Obama won't change American's basic need: forgiveness from God. A national revival is what is needed, not a revolution at the box offices. Dear Al Duhan, I like Alan Keyes. But I don't think people would vote for him because he seems to lack a sense of humor. I believe that. too much political messianism is ruining America. If we can find God in our churches, we don't need to try for inspiration from political leaders. Because the love of money corrupts politics, moral leaders in politics are really not necessarily completely moral after all. The whole thing is just too corrupted to inspire much moral confidence in people who run for office. Why would a good man want to be in control of the corrupt governments of the world? Our government is not completely moral; it's just better than most other governments. Except for all its faults, which everyone has. All of us in America need God's forgiveness. We can't save ourselves.
Americans have sinned. We should not expect our leaders to be sinless.
Alan Keyes, I would vote for him in a heartbeat. I voted for him against Bush and I believe he was the smartest and would put Obama to shame. No comparison. I believe that the gay, I don't want to call them people, are about the dirtiest things in the world. Could you just imagine watching them play the sex game, the squishing & squashing that no other life form would ever consider?? Tell me why would anyone want to pump something into a sewer. Then they have the gall to say that God's animals are homosexual and anyone who thinks other wise is bigoted and ignorant. Sorry But I have worked around both wild AND domesticated animals and what scientists DO NOT take into consideration is that a male and female of a species could look so identical that it could be seen as homosexual. Also male animals like horses demonstrate acts of dominance that look homosexual in nature when they are not. The the gays are sick deprived people that need to be rounded up and sent to some homo Gitmo.
Alan Keyes….I am willing to vote for a black man, just not Obama. I'd have voted for Keyes no problem. Sometimes race just doesn't matter as much as your principals and beliefs…
