Ian McKellen of Lord of the Rings (Gandalf) and X-Men (Magneto) fame is an admitted homosexual. He is in the habit of tearing out the Bible passage that condemns homosexuality, specifically Leviticus 18:22 which reads, “You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination.” He does this when he stays in a hotel that includes a Gideon Bible. He asserts, “I’m not proudly defacing the book, but it’s a choice between removing that page and throwing away the whole Bible.” His defiance is catching on. “I got delivered a package of 40 of those pages that had been torn out by a married couple I know. They put them on a bit of string so that I could hang it up in the bathroom.”
On April 15h of next year, I’m going to tear out the page that tells me how much tax I have to pay. That will show the IRS! The Bible isn’t McKellen’s problem. The God who stands behind the Bible is.
Christians who have capitulated to the homosexual lobby have done something similar by denying what the Bible explicitly states.
