Ignorant Educators

New Haven, Connecticut, has removed the phrase “in the year of our Lord” from their high school diplomas, after someone complained. This change is intended to remove “religious bias” and avoid offense but is in conflict with the Constitution of Connecticut, not to mention the United States Constitution. This is just another example of the ignorant educators shaping our future generations.

  1. Scott R. Harrington says:

Americans need to be aware that it was Deism that founded America, and Deism was an apostasy from the Reformed (Puritan/ Presbyterian), Congregational, Anglcian denominations that were the state churches of the American colonies. There was alsio Quaker Pennsylvania. There was not much Lutheranism in America; it was mostly Calvinism and Anglicanism. From these bare walls of the Calvinist and Anglican churches, the unbelieving Deists who wrote the Constitution gave us secular America. There is not much of the spirit of the Reformation in the Founding Fathers; it is an attempt to escape from the Reformation heritage, indeed, from any form of Christianity, whether Protestant, Catholic, or Greek Orthodox.

Ignorance in our current "education" system is intentional. It is more very wrong-headed and destructive ideology than ignorance.

THE WHITE HOUSE AND WASHINGTON IS FULL OF THESE IDIOTS
VOTE THEM OUT COME NOV SEND THEM PACKING

  4. Ray says:

It's way past time to get the dumb liberals out of office and even out of the country along with the illegals, politicians and terrorists. Remember we have our own terrorists, they are called congressmen and senators.
Vote them out Nov. 2, 2010.

    We'll remember – come November

Immigration into this country MEANS learning about our culture and striving to be assimilated into it, NOT changing it. Essentially what I am saying is that this PC nonsense has got to go. It is contrary to common sense. It is an enemy, as are those who continue to espouse it, of this country. Basically, to the individuals concerned, I say: If you don't like our culture, go home. You don't belong here. This is a country of freedom and tolerance of others quirks, but which has it's own culture. This tolerance DOES NOT EXTEND to your attempt to damage our culture and consequently our country. Most of the PC changes espoused by "immigrants" and resident Progressives / Communists are detrimental to our basic freedoms. If you don't like it, go somewhere else, so long as it is not in this country. What these "educators" do here is not enlightment. It is an incremental attempt to destroy America. That's a page in the Progressive plan and it stinks.

Education does not educate because comes from government and government likes their people dumb, easier to rob them from their freedom!

  7. Dave says:

Why does Dr. Demar think that wanting to make all of God's children feel included is ignorant or un-christian? I think it is exactly what Jesus would do.

  8. readmylips says:

Life's tough. It's even tougher if you are stupid.
I fear for the future and all the stupid "pc" changes being made due to minority complaints. I believe it is long overdue for Americans to get a backbone and stop turning the other cheek.

    • David says:

Any day now I expect congress to pass a law making stupidity illegal,

if they can only find a way to exempt themselves.

  9. Michael G. says:

As a retired college prof. I am appaled at what I see teachers doing today. I encountered several with PhD's who knew the text book, but didn't know the subject. These teachers I alerted my classes about, and told them to stay away from them. Anybody can parrot the text book. It takes a teacher to teach the subject. Even so, I could have done a better job.

  10. HARRY-O says:

Those in education now have knowledge but no wisdom.
They have "sheepskins" on the wall but no horse sense.

  11. Ernie says:

There are a lot of ignorent people in this country, who believe that the Constitution seperates church and state. It doesnt do any such thing. All the Constitution says is, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or probhibiting the free exercise thereof". There are those who pretend to know what the writters of this document meant when they wrote that, to them I say the devil you do, the problem is no one can go ask them what they meant. This leaves us with the written word and I am assuming they wrote what they meant and meant what they wrote. That bings us back to the first problem that of seperation of church and state. There clearly is no Constitutional probattion of anything other than that congress shall pass no law respecting establishment of religion . To all of the nay sayers I say get a life.

    • David says:

AND, I have always understood the word “Establishment” to mean the “Institution” of religion, not the formation or act of establishing such, although that would be correct too.

The U.S. Constitution is saying: ANYTHING to do with religion is a hands off to government!

Thanks for the blue pencil work on Ron's post. Are you the editor of your high school newspaper? Maybe you could spend more time trying to comprehend the context of Ron's communique instead of boring us with your scrutinization of his grammar & syntax? There's no fool like an educated fool. Take off the blinders and heed the message!

  13. John says:

Each of us must pray and ask Jesus Christ what he wants us to do for him in this time. Example:
The Lord told me to read the bible to my children from the day of their birth and i did, He also sent me a dream and told me not to send my children to school, lest they be corrupted. I home schooled them and they all received a Master Degree by the age of 16.

Now my daughter Alexandra has written and published two new novels which have a witness for Christ folded into the story so that a non-believer who pick up the fictional work and reads it will get a witness about the Christ.
one is called the Fourth Kingdom and the second is The Twelfth Juror. The Fourth Kingdom is availabe on Amazon if you click on books and then Alexandra Swann or Joyce Swann. The Twelfth Juror will be available in about 5 days. If you have an unsaved person, friend or family member be sure to purchase one of these books and give to them as a gift. God wants all to be saved and we are nearing the final battle.
