I couldn’t believe it. I just watched Alex Jones’ commentary on this new movie bought by FOX and planned for release this fall. It’s called Machete and it glorifies a Mexican uprising in America in an over-the-top ”kill whitey” genre. Kill whitey, peasant revolt style, with machetes. Let the blood flow…
The lead charater, played by Danny Trejo, is a violent revolutionary named “Machete.” In the movie he is a Christ figure. They literally pray to (not for, but to) him to save them from evil whites who exploit them, oppress them, etc.. Whites are portrayed as anti-catholic and therefore anti-Latin and anti-Christian in their world. Machete responds by hacking up the white devils. They pray to him more.
From what Jones says, the plot is far worse than the trailers made it appear, which was bad enough. The movie, like the real Latin gang/movement “La Raza,” is communist (literally) and anti-white to the core. Jones shows clips of La Raza at rallies making such open pitches. You may remember how they bullied town halls over health care last fall (warning: contains foul language).
FOXNews has already expressed dismay over this unbelievably and openly Anti-American, Pro-murder, Racist, Communist propaganda promoted by their parent company. The trailer has been pulled from the web, but so has FOXNews’ critical article.
The question is can we supply enough pressure and outrage that FOX will pull the whole film and not show it at all this fall?
Christians should oppose this loudly.
The churches should oppose the blasphemy, violence, racism, and communism loudly.
The Catholic Church should officially comdemn this, but it won’t: it created the Liberation Theology that stands behind it.
The media should openly condemn this. Could you image a film that glorified TEA-Party mobs uprising to kill their opponents? This is the very thing the liberal critics, including the president, have tried to tar and feather the TEA Parties with, unsuccessfully however. And now their own leftists counterparts are openly glorifying armed revolution against innocent property owners. Where is the media outcry against the leftists?
Everyone should openly condemn this movie, most of all Mexican Americans. This type of propganda paints them all as violent and communist, and could cause a huge backlash socially. Of course, the ones who are violent and communist will love the film, and if the film gets shown and turns out to be a financial success, we’ll know we have real La Raza problem in the country.

I agree that this movie should be shown on Fox and everywhere else. Sometimes the truth is very hard to face. The illegals coming over the border are not the same kind that we once knew. Not only are they bringing drugs and criminals, they are fomenting an anti-American attitude that we must recognize and deal with. We cannot continue to "bury our head in the sand" and hope it will go away. The only racists are those calling everyone racist. The entire "La Raza" and illegal movement is racist; it is built on racism; it thrives on racism, and it exists to promote only the Mexican "race".
We must not forget that Hispanics are not the only ones crossing that border. Many Korans and prayer rugs have been found at the illegal's camp sites. We must do something about this NOW. We cannot wait any longer to stop the drugs, criminals, terrorists, and diseases coming across our border. For once, we need to have some courage and stand up and fight against the horrors of our border with Mexico.

Veronica you are so right! Illegal is illegal so what is the problem! I have alot of Mexican friends who I adore, but it is very discouraging when I can't get a job because I don't speak spanish! Just yesterday Obama's wife was at a grade school and a girl in the second grade made the comment that her mother said Obama is going to make people leave th U.S. if they don't have papers. With all due respect Joel, the Catholic Church did not create liberation theology nor does the Church condone it. One only has to read the Catechism of the Catholic Church to see the official teachings of magisterium of the Church. Most anti-Catholics of the world hate the Church for what they THINK the Church teaches rather than its actual doctrines. Liberation theology may have some "Catholics" who subscribe to it and may even have "Catholic" avatars that were involved with its development. But, this is a warping of Catholic doctrine just as communists and socialists have warped and reinterpreted the Church's teaching on social justice. The Church pioneered philosophical and theological thought and western civilization is built on its foundations. The Church taught and teaches the necessity and justice of private property in antithesis of the socialist/communist agenda. One only has to read the encyclicals of the popes during the rise of fascism, socialism, and communism in the early 20th century to get an accurate depiction on the Church's stance on these issues.
With that, don't be so sure that many of the Bishops of the Church won't condemn this movie. No Catholic (which, by the way, is quintessentially Christian) should condone or, in good conscience, can condone the worship of anyone but God (Father, Son, & Holy Spirit) or the wanton killing of any human person, especially one based on race. Unfortunately, there are the deluded in any population, including Catholics, and some may be so benighted that they fall into this movie's trap. But they are not in true communion with the Church and probably are as ignorant of the Church's doctrines as most non-Catholics. Is that any different than the Episcopal flock??
And for the record, this is one Catholic who won't be watching this movie (as, in fact, I rarely watch the FOX broadcast network because of its utter contempt for christianity and specifically the Catholic Church – as depicted in such contemptible programs such as Family Guy). I'll continue to watch FoxNews and leave the other garbage by the wayside. I suggest others do the same.
I agree. Let's not blame the Catholic Church for the creation of Liberation Theology. True it exists within that church but only because that is the predominat denomination of Christianity in the countries where LT began and thrives.

Don't ban the film! Since it's scheduled to be released this fall, it will come out just before the Congressional elections. This will show everyone what the Left's agenda actually is; and cause such outrage among the voters, that the number of Democrats in Congress will be reduced to a pathetic minimum.
