I am not very educated. I don’t spell well, and don’t know very many big words. But I still get up each day and think of how I am blessed to be an American. That even though I am not rich, I have helped to provide, and care for my family. Been able to buy my own home and do with it as I please. Yes, I have always owned a weapon, and yes, they have safety locks and are kept in a double locked safe. I am prior service, and am a expert with the M16. I am a adult, I was taught by my father and the Army the weapon is not a toy, and is only for sportsman, hunting and defense. I read your remarks and I feel sorry for you and our future generation. You might go on a yard sale binge, and look for old history books and anything else before the 70′s and look for the truth. You don’t sound as if you have a loved one or have been yourself in the military. But, believe me, we patriots feel the weight of freedom. And some have paid with their lives, so we all could have freedom. Without freedom you can’t own a weapon, your own home, educate you children or sometimes even eat, because the food is all hoarded by the people in charge. You cannot choose who your doctor will be, because “you’re not paying for his service”, and they know what is good for you. It’s not paranoia, it’s the big people on top, wanting to rule the little people on the bottom, dictate,
and not work for the people. They want the power to kill thousands at a time just because they disagree with their policy’s. To me this is socialism, the power to kill and starve, and the first step, is to take away your defense, your “guns”.

As far as guns go…do you honestly think Jesus, the healer, the lover of all people and races, the Prinvce of peace would own one?
