Some Christian homosexuals have argued that homosexuality fell under a “holiness code” of the “old law” that does not apply to the Church. Supposedly, this is found in the book of Leviticus. Gary DeMar uncovers what the Bible has to say about these matters.

If there is one thing you can count on here at AV it is regular long winded comments from people who do not actually interact with the videos or articles and generally seem to be ignorant of the author's overall position or case. I can appreciate some good, bold soap boxing, but more often than not what you find is defensive, naked assertions and "that's that" declarations.
Entertaing, at least.
If we take the Bible or even reason seriously then there is no such thing as "homosex-" anything, since the delusionally oxymoronic word only used by perverts and their fools (homo=same+sex=opposte) is only found in modern mistranslations, not before the 20th century. Angela, Thank you for your contribution. It is provocative. But it fails to address both Gary DeMar's point and Guest's point regarding Acts 10. How do you reconcile this?
How do you interpret Acts 10.1-16, particularly v.15, where God says to Peter about the previously prohibited foods, "What God has cleansed you must not call common," and Mark 7.19, where Jesus has been talking about what goes into a person does not defile, but what comes out, and then "(By saying this, he showed that every kind of food is acceptable.)" (NLT), or in NKJ, ""…because it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and is elmiinated, thus purifying all foods?" Then continuing in v. 20, Jesus points out that sexual immorality is one of the things within a person's heart that defiles the person.
To me that indicates that Christ has made a clear distinction between foods eaten and the other prohibitions in Leviticus.
It is precisely your misreading of the New covenant scriptures without the Light of the Torah which stumbles Miss Knapp as well as so many others practicing various other sins. Have you not also read these scriptures: "I, the Lord, do not change." (Malachi 3:6), "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever" (Hebrews 13:8). If G-D never changes – neither do His instructions – it is only man's honest or insincere misunderstanding of the scriptures which changes the understanding of them. We as believers need to practice the instructions given to us through the "entire" scripture. The best example of this in scripture is contained here in Matt 5:19 "Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven". Here Yeshua/Jesus is speaking of the Torah & the prophets (the new testament did not exist yet). To sum it up we become hypocrites if we say one thing is sin while the other is no longer considered sin – Yes the penalty is death for homosexuality, but eating pork & shellfish is still wrong (you may not suffer the immediate penalty of death but it will affect your health & will bring you to death sooner than need be (there have been scientific studies which show its deleterious affects on health). Not enough believers heed this warning in scripture "If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?" (Psalms 11:3) What is that foundation? The Torah on which the prophets & new testament stand on (they all need to line up & agree with one another, Yeshua/Jesus would never teach anything contrary to the Father(Yeshua/Jesus is the Living Torah who showed us how to live it out)- if we take that away we are just standing on a foundation of sand that will crumble to nothing.
